Company Social Media Business Use Guidelines Template

This document may be used by companies that encourage social media use by its non-unionized employees on the company’s behalf for marketing and other business purposes.  This policy template outlines the expectations of employees and includes best practice suggestions for respecting others, handling social media mistakes, protecting sensitive information, and other useful guidelines. 

Companies that are subject to industry-based standards (e.g. financial industry) or securities laws may need to review these guidelines before implementation to ensure compliance with those standards.
